WHAT MEASUREMENTS DO YOU NEED TO ORDER MY CAP & GOWN?
We want your cap & gown to fit properly. We will need your gender, current height with shoes, and current weight. This information is kept confidential and ensures a proper fit. Cap size is not necessary as the caps are one size fits all. All orders must be paid in full before your cap & gown will be released for pick up.

WHEN IS THE LAST DAY I CAN ORDER A CAP & GOWN?
All orders for cap & gowns must be received by Decemebr 21st. After Decemebr 21st, orders must be submitted to our office using the SENIOR LATE ORDER PROGRAM form. This late order form will be available in the main office of your school. This late order form is available until April 15th. Cap & gowns ordered during the Senior Late Order Program will be subject to a late fee.

IS MY CAP & GOWN FEE INCLDUED IN THE PRICE OF THE GRADUATION SUPPLIES PACKAGES?
No. The cost for your cap & gown and your senior fees are not included in the price of our packages.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CAP & GOWN?
If paid in full, your cap & gown will be delivered to you at school on the Sr. class delivery date in the spring. Watch for posters and listen for announcments for the exact date of delivery.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I PLACE AN ORDER FOR A CAP & GOWN AND I DO NOT GRADUATE?
Herff Jones must be notified in writing prior to the graduation date if a student does not qualify for graduation in order for a refund to be issued. The cap & gown unit must be returned to our office in 100% new condition and in the original packaging prior to the graduation date. Late fees and handling fees are non-refundable. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your refund to be issued.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A LATE FEE AND HANDLING FEE?
Our Late Order Program begins December 22nd, 2007. Our office is not a retail location. Your order must be custom made and produced at our manufacturing plant and shipped to Georgia. The handling fee we charge is for items to be shipped to our office from the manufacturing plant, so we can provide you with the same products that seniors have been ordering sine the beginning of the school year. Late fees are applied to the cap & gown orders.

WHAT ARE THE LATE FEES FOR CAP & GOWN ORDERS?
The late fee is added to the price of the cap & gown based on the month in which the order is placed and paid. Orders placed and paid in February will have a $10.00 Late Fee added. Orders placed and paid in March will have a $20.00 Late Fee added. Orders placed and paid in April will have a $30.00 Late Fee added. Orders placed and paid in May will have $40.00 Late Fee added.

HOW SHOULD MY GOWN FIT?
Your graduation gown should be at a length that falls approximately midway between the knee and ankle. It should not go below the ankle or above the knees. If you gown needs adjusting, please contact our office or see the Herff Jones representative while they are at your school.

SHOULD I IRON MY GOWN WHEN I RECEIVE IT?
NO! If you iron your gown, you risk burning it. Instead, just hang it on a hanger for a few days, and if there are still wrinkles in it, steam should take care of it.
